mystery of the ages

…. The Spiritual Exit from Alpha to the Omega ….

REAMBLE: What brings about a spiritual change is a revelation not a mere religious doctrine. To receive a profound and accurate present truth of God you have to first desire it, and then seek for it with all your heart. King David said,

they that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters; these see the works of the Lord, and his wonders in the DEEP.(Psalm107:23-24)

As we should know, water of cleansing represents the pure word of God, (Ephesians5:26, John17:17). The great waters mentioned by David can mean dimensions of God’s revelation. If we are going to discover the great works, wonders and mysteries of the Lord, we must swim in the dimensional truth of God, the mysteries, or the hidden truth of God are reserved for the spiritual extremist. The spiritual extremist are simply the truth seekers, those who can never be satisfied with human ideology, but always hunger and press harder to gain more of God. Anyone who is going stand undefiled in this critical hour of darkness must dig deep and lay his or her foundation upon the rock of revelation, not on what any mortal man has established as the complete truth of God and His kingdom. The Lord says…..

Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: He is like a man which built an house, and DIGGED DEEP, AND LAID THE FOUNDATION ON A ROCK: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without A FOUNDATION BUILT AN HOUSE UPON THE EARTH; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.(Luke6:47-49)

Christ is the rock, Paul says, “And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ (1Corinthians 10:4). We are supposed to build upon and drink fresh water (current unadulterated revealed truth or revelation of God) that flows directly from Jesus Christ the Rock. The EARTH is a representation of human philosophy, or static religious church doctrines, so building upon the earth means not to base your faith on manmade doctrines. It’s a pity most think that getting themselves addicted to religious sectarian bible doctrines will help them come to the full knowledge of God; however it’s only through the revelatory Spirit of Christ that one can receive pure knowledge God that lead to full conformity to His eternal image. It is not a matter of cramming and quoting bible verses, you cram and recite all of the verses of the entire bible and still not come to the knowledge of the truth (2Timothy3:7).  The word of God can be compared to an onion; an onion is made up of many layers and so it is with the word of God. If you buy an onion and peel off and eat only the outer layer you’ll miss the real thing. If you buy a new bible and study all the letters without having a divine insight you will still miss God’s reality. Origen was right when he said that as the human beings have “spirit, soul and body so does the scriptures”. Origen meant that there is an innermost, inner and outer interpretation of the scriptures. If you are seeking for the truth don’t stop in the outermost interpretation of the bible or what  mainstream Christianity accepts as the whole truth, you must dig deeper to be able to find the innermost truth of God. The fullness of God cannot be achieved just by reciting “John 3:16”, we have to go beyond the surface, which involves having a deep hunger for Christ and a groaning within our hearts for spiritual transformation. We need fervent prayer, fasting, meditation and to study spiritually, which is different from mere bible reading. To study spiritually means paying attention and learning from everything, including nature, don’t get yourself locked in with the doctrines of Christianity religion, learn to listen and follow the Spirit of Christ in you and he will guide you into all truth.

HERE IS A SPIRITUAL RACE SET BEFORE US: As we should know, the church is beyond a mere religious gathering of people on weekdays, and has nothing to do with a physical building. The called out people (Church) spiritually represents the Hebrews, which is derived from the Root word Abar “Eber” meaning To Cross Over or people in constant migration. There is a divine race set before the church, the same way that the natural Israelites were called out off Egypt and the people gradually journeyed and entered the promised land, so the church (spiritual Hebrews) is gradually migrating to the eternal land of promise which is why we are known as the called out people. God has brought us out from the world to bring us in to Himself to give us the land that he promised on oath to our forefathers… (Deut, 6:23). Our promised land is not that of physical Jerusalem in Israel, where the blind religious “Christians” goes for pilgrimage and come back and adopt religious title to their name (JP), which stands for “Jerusalem pilgrimage”. The real promise land is now spiritual, and we have to journey spiritually to reach it. The scripture says:

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, (Hebrews 12:1)

God has not just called us out of the world to wait for the day of to be raptured. The concept of rapture as most of us know it was introduced by the false Christianity religion to blindfold the saints not to see the sacred movement set before us. There is a race (a Journey) set before us and many Christians say that we are running a race, but it is not enough to say that we are running a race; we all need perfect knowledge of the divine race that we are running; afterwards, we should run as if we want to take the first prize. Paul the apostle says:

Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. Therefore, I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air. No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize. (1 Corinthians 9:24-27)

As the church (people in constant journey), we must set our hearts and minds on the race and remove our eyes from men. We Christians must stop looking at any person as a great man or woman of God, no one should stand as our ultimate oracle or a role model because we all are children of a great and mighty God, and our eyes should be fixed on Jesus Christ; He is the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews12:2). Man can’t accomplish anything for us without God! All that we need to finish the race is grace, wisdom, understanding and spiritual accuracy, we must know where we are coming from and where we are going. When the Pharisees accused our Lord Jesus Christ that He bore witness of Himself, and that his record was not true, the Lord answered and said to them:  Though I bear record of myself, yet my record is true: for I KNOW WHENCE I CAME, AND WHITHER I GO; but ye cannot tell whence I come, and whither I go. (John8:14)This scripture is teaching us that for us to have success in this race; we must have a clear picture of the kind of race that we are running. We must know the starting point and the finishing line or else we will run around in circles without reaching God’s predetermined state of perfection and readiness. It is one thing to believe in Jesus Christ and another thing to reach the end. The Lord makes it very clear in bible that only those who endure unto the end shall be saved (Matthew24:13). Reaching the end requires mutual understanding, King Solomon says in his proverbs: The man that wandereth out of the way of understanding shall remain in the congregation of the dead. (Proverb21:16) A dead congregation represents an assembly without spiritual vision or accurate revelation of Jesus Christ and the kingdom of God; a church which grows only in quantity and not in quality, lack of vision courses stagnancy, backsliding and destruction of a soul; Solomon also says, “Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. (Proverb29:18)We must understand the kind of vision that the scripture is talking about. It’s different from that picture of the big business that you have in mind to establish to support the poor, neither is it that great “ministry” that one wants to start or the college degree that one wishes to obtain. Eternal vision is also very different from developing non-denominational and denominational churches across the globe. These things are good dreams and imaginations, but the vision that the word of God is referring to is the revelation of God concerning our eternity with Him. A person will have no true vision until he has set an eternal goal in Christ. We must have a profound insight in the divine plan and purpose of God, so that our character can reveal God on earth thus leading lost souls back to God.

Jesus asks this question; "Can a blind man lead a blind man? Will they not both fall into a pit? (Luke6:39)

This means that without perfect revelation of Jesus Christ and a clear view of eternity it will be difficult for us as the Children of God to lead souls into everlasting righteousness. When a Christian fails to see the race that is divinely set before him, he will end up playing religion to cover up his short comings, for instance; many Christians today live in sin yet profess that they belong to God, even preachers tell lies in the pulpit yet their conscience doesn’t judge them because they lack insight. We all need a perfect knowledge of where we are coming from and where are going in order for us to live a fulfilled life in Christ. I pray that by the help of the Holy Spirit that this article will assist many to receive the accurate knowledge of where we are coming from and where we are going.

ystery of the AGES: We can’t get the picture of our divine race clear without first understanding where everything started. The church represents the spiritual Hebrews, which means “people on a constant journey.” God has set a heavenly race before us and the race is also referred to as spiritual journey. To be on a journey means that we are traveling from one place to another, that means that the Church is a moving  forward people and not just a gathering of people. We as a church are going somewhere, and our spiritual movement covers three different stages, also known as ages. A passage in the book of Revelations states, “that which was, which is and which is to come (Revelation 1:4, 8)”, again in the book of Hebrews is a verse that reads “Jesus Christ is the same Yesterday, Today and Forever (Hebrew13:8)”.  There are three major ages: the age past, the present age and the future age. The first age is called the Beginning also known as the Alpha age or Eternity Spiritual.  The second is period is called the Mortal age which is also known as the age of visibility or Manifestation period. The third and the last age is called the Perfect “Omega” age or the Immortal age. We are moving from the alpha age up to the Omega age, or we can say that our spiritual movement started from the eternity spiritual and we are heading to immortality reality. Three words from the book of Genesis chapter one and two explain this further…

(1). CREATE

(2). FORM

(3). MAKE

REATION AGE (Eternity): Genesis Chapter one verse one and two reads, in the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth; and the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep and the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. Many theologians believe that the beginning represents the original angelic world, which became chaotic after the sin of Lucifer, and others believe that the beginning started from the manifestation week of all creation. The truth is that the Beginning is far beyond theological claims. The Beginning was the age of creation; a time when nothing existed besides God, only He was and He then created everything within Himself…

“According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Ephesians1:4

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men.” (John1:1-4)

“For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.” (Colossians1:16-17)

Just as a baby exists in his mother’s womb for nine months before conception, so was all creation, which started in God’s mind, which to Him was a reality. All that He created spiritually in His mind was visible to Him and He carried us in His womb first before He decided to bring us into the physical form. Both the pre-Adamic and Adamic world was first created in the beginning in God. No one (except through prophetic revelation) can tell how many million or trillion years we all spiritually spent in God before our time of physical manifestation. Because we started in Him, God knew every creature by name even before Adam gave them names, Adam was a prophet and named every creature according to God’s own heart. There is nothing new in God’s sight; everything that is happening right now has already taken place in the beginning, that is why He said to prophet Jeremiah;

Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. (Jeremiah 1:5)

Jesus tells us that Satan sinned right from the beginning (1John3:8). Before Lucifer was formed and placed in the first celestial Eden which existed before the Adamic Eden (Ezekiel 28:13-15), God already knew that he would rebel against His kingdom, for that, God provided the Lamb, His son Jesus Christ who was slain before the foundation of the world for the perfect atonement for sin (Revelation 13:8). Nothing surprises God because He knows everything, He is the Almighty, the creator of all things, He declares the end from the beginning and nothing is new in the sight of the Almighty! To God everything is completed because He reigns in eternity where there is no yesterday or tomorrow; a realm in the spirit where life is still and we all existed in the beginning in Him……

“Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure.” (Isaiah46:10)

“The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun. Is there anything whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us. There is no remembrance of former things; neither shall there be any remembrance of things that are to come with those that shall come after.” (Ecclesiastes 1:9-11)

ORMATION AGE (Mortal age): After the age of creation, God brought us to the period of formation, which is the manifestation time. Before an inventor is able to bring anything into physical reality, he must first create the image of what he is trying to manufacture in his mind. After haven gotten the clear picture of what he wants to invent, he will then develop it, bringing it out so that it can be seen and felt (A revelation is not a complete truth until it becomes a physical reality). For example, scripture is a script waiting for a creature to fulfill it. The word of God was not just written in a book for preaching purposes but to bring what is written in it into physical manifestation; Christians are to become a living bible, a physical demonstrated word of God, in the exact same manner that the bible illustrates Jesus Christ…

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. Verse 14 says; And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth (John 1:1-2, 14).

The “Truth” is the visible manifestation of a divine revelation. The creatures were in God in the time past, and waited for the period of Formation. Genesis Chapter 1 gives an account of the Creation of Man while chapter 2 recorded the formation of Man…in verse 27 of chapter 1 it says, So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them (Genesis1:27).  Genesis 2:7 says and the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. (Genesis2:7) the formation age which is known as the Mortal age is when God decided to bring out everything that He had created into physical reality, this period started from manifestation of the pre-Adamic Eden (Ezekiel 28:13-15) and will continue until all things are completely perfected.

AKE – (Gradual development to the Immortal age): Genesis chapter 1 verse 26 reads, And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. The above scripture was determined and decreed from eternity before the beginning. We must understand that the making is happening gradually, God started by creating us in His mind, after Creation, He formed us, and from Formation He is taking us through the process of perfection unto completion. After a potter forms a pot with clay, he will continue the process of breaking and remolding until he forms his masterpiece (Jeremiah 18:4-6). We are still clay in the potter’s Hand, God hasn’t finished us. He is working to bring everything that He has created and formed into a complete state of permanent perfection. It is true that God created man in His own image but man was formed in the mortal body while God is Immortal; God purposed the mortal man be conformed fully to his own image to share with Him in a state of permanent perfection and immortality of the outward man. That is why He said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. The first man “Adam” who was “earthly” was not perfect like God, if so he couldn’t have fallen. Because God exists in the realm of permanent perfection He cannot sin which is why the second Adam who was Jesus Christ could not sin because the fullness of God dwelt in Him bodily on earth (Colossian 2:9). The law of “do and do not” exists to test the obedience of man. Adam was formed into a state of sinless perfection, which is very different from permanent perfection.  The state of permanent perfection is a dimension where it is impossible to sin. God wanted Adam to achieve complete immortality with a sinless nature, which was why when man fell, God stopped them from eating the tree of life in order for them not to be immortalized with sin nature and remain like Satan. The tree of life bears the seed of immortality, which was originally created for the immortalization of the total man. The command that God gave to man was to "Be fruitful, increase in number fill the earth, and subdue it”. These divine commands are spiritual, and are beyond physical reproduction. Apart from giving birth to biological children, to be fruitful means to manifest the complete nature and character of God or to reach a dimension in God where the fruits of the spirit will manifest in one’s life and remain permanent(Galanthians5:22). To increase in number means to raise (multiply) sons of God in the world. To fill the earth means to let the nature of God (“His Breath” which He imparted in the inward part of man) dominates the outward man so that that which is mortal (the earth or dust) will be transformed and clothed with immortality. Jesus says, “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled (Matthew 5:6), which means that those who seek for a complete divine nature of God both inwardly and outwardly will be filled with all the fruits of the spirit and will be clothed with an imperishable body. To subdue the earth means to eternally conquer and keep our flesh under subjection and not to allow it to have control over us. Had it been that the first Adam existed in the complete realm of permanent perfection and immortality like God, he could have never fallen because it is impossible for God to sin, but the journey was set before Adam to reach immortality of the total man through daily obedience to the word of God.

NDERSTANDING THE SEVENTH DAY: It is certain that the work was spiritually completed in the beginning because Moses said, “And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made” (Genesis2:2). What most people regard as the seventh day is Saturday, however; the seventh is beyond a calendar day. Since God reigns from eternity; a realm in the spirit where there is no yesterday or tomorrow, He doesn’t operate with calendar days as we do (For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD Isaiah55:8).God’s ways are totally different from our ways because He hath immortality and lives in unapproachable light, which no one has seen or can see (1Timothy6:16).Meanwhile, we humans exist in mortality sphere. God does things according to His own special divine timing; He has a good sense of spiritual timing. Whatever God has programmed from the eternity must come to pass on earth accurately at the fullness of time not according to man’s calculating of dates and time...

But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law (Galatians4:4).

That in the dispensation of the fullness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him(Ephesians1:10).

"The fullness of the time" entails the totality of a period of time, with the insinuation of proper completion. Revelation is needed to understand God’s way of counting days, weeks, months, years and time. Prophetic days and timing are very different from our calendar days which is why people always fail when they try to predict dates on which Christ will return, or the end of the world. Moses asked the Lord to teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom (Psalm90:12). The word of God says that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day (2Peter3:8, Psalm90:4). If one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day, that means that we can take the seven days, or the one week of creation recorded in Genesis as seven thousand years, and the seven thousand years will represent the seven different ages which exist within the mortal age, otherwise known as SEVEN DISPENSATIONS; which represents different stages or periods of time in which man is tested in respect of obedience to some specific revelation of the eternal will of God, in other words, we are growing from one level of revelation (faith) to another level in order to achieve complete perfection and immortality in God. Our spiritual movement from mortality to immortality can be compared to a relay marathon race.

Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them. Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools. They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God (Psalm84:5-7).

We can also read from the prophets; For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, the just shall live by faith (Romans1:17)

As afore mentioned, the seven dispensations or ages exist inside the Mortal age, in this mortal age God is taking us through the process of perfection unto completion. In other words, God is gradually making (spiritually developing) us to conform fully to His own image and likeness. As we started from the beginning, we must pass through mortality to reach immortality. This is why scripture teaches us that this world is not our home, we are all strangers and pilgrimage on earth (1 Peter 2:11). Now the first day or the first dispensation is called the age of innocence, which began with the formation of man and ended with the fall of man. (Genesis2:7, 3:24).

The age of conscience came after the fall of man, and extended from the fall of man to the Noah’s flood (Genesis4-19, 6).

The age of human government began and extended from the flood to the call of Abraham (Genesis 8:20, 11).

The age of promise which is the fourth period, was extended from the call of Abraham and ended with the given of the Mosaic Law (Genesis 12, Exodus 18).

the age of the mosaic law began when Moses received the law on Mount Sinai and continued until the crucifixion of Jesus Christ on Mount Calvary (Matthew 27:50-53).

The age of grace and truth also called the church age or the time of the Gentiles, started from the crucifixion and will end at the second physical coming of Jesus Christ (Romans11:25).

The kingdom age is a future event and is considered the 7th dispensation. It occurs when the Messiah Jesus Christ, the conquering Lion of the Tribe of Judah, returns to the earth. Christ the king will rule from Jerusalem over Israel and all of the nations of the world for one thousand years.

The perfect age will be after the 1000 years; then all of the saints including the Jewish and Gentile bride will be translated fully to immortality to reign in the new earth that God has made for the saints (Revelation 21).

Right now the ages as counted seems to be 8 dispensations which is the number of new beginnings, but in setting them according to the divine order it will equate to 7 ages. A complete dispensation is counted as a day, for example, from the age of innocence to the age conscience is THE FIRST DAY,   from the age of conscience  to the age of human government is THE SECOND DAY, from the age of human government to the age of promise is THE THIRD DAY, from the age of promise to the age of law is THE FOURTH DAY, from The Law to the age of grace is THE FIFTH DAY, from the time of Grace to the Kingdom Age is THE SIXTH DAY, from the Kingdom age to the perfect age is THE SEVENTH DAY.  Everything falls perfectly in a proper arrangement; seven is the number of perfection, and five is the number of grace. It’s on the seventh day; which represents “the perfect or immortal age” that Genesis 2:2 will be physically manifested.  And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made” (Genesis2:2). On the 7th day, the end of making man will become complete which is when we’ll translate to immortality. Perfection and immortalization of our mortal body is the finishing point, which is called the perfect age, or the immortal age. Jesus says; My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I, too, am working" (John5:17).This scripture confirms that God never stops working at anytime. He’s still in the process of making man to conform fully to His nature and character, which will end on the 7th day; the immortal age.

HE REAL SABBATH: Sabbath has been misinterpreted to mean a physical day of worship, Sabbath doesn’t represent any calendar day; it’s neither Saturday or Sunday as some blind religious people insist. The word "Sabbath” is derived from the Hebrew verb shavat meaning "rest" or “ceasing from work". The Modern Hebrew word for Sabbath is shevita, which means “a labor strike”. Just as water baptism in Christianity symbolizes the outward demonstration of the inward purification, under the Old Testament, Sabbath was given to the Jews as a sign of the spiritual rest that God has reserved for everyone of us in Christ Jesus…

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my Sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you. (Exodus31:12-13)

Paul the apostle stated; therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ. (Colossians2:16-17)
When something is said to be a sign or shadow, it means that the reality exists somewhere. The physical rituals that the Jews observe as the Sabbath is nothing but an outward demonstration of a future spiritual rest that God has ordained for all saints in Christ. It would be foolish for one who is seeking a genuine substance to continue holding onto a symbol when the reality has been revealed. Despite what is said concerning the Sabbath, as long as we agree that the Old Testament foreshadows the New Testament, the New Testament Sabbath is spiritual and has nothing to do with a physical day. That is why the early disciples of Christ were meeting daily on one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house (Act2:46). Sabbath means rest, and is not a day; it is neither Saturday nor Sunday, but a life in the spirit or a state of being! Sabbath is a spiritual state of permanent perfection and immortality in god. We must recognize that our day of rest is yet to come…

There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God's rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from his. Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will fall by following their example of disobedience. (Hebrew 4:9-11)

Our true day of rest will come on that day when we all (the mortal church) are translated into a spiritual state of permanent perfection and immortality in Jesus Christ, we shall all be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye at the last trump and caught up by the power of the eternal spirit of God into a realm in the spirit where there will be no more labor, no sin and no more death. In the sabbatical realm, life of holiness, righteousness, peace and joy will never cease; God’s character will become a permanent standard of our lives.

NTERING THE SABBATH:  The scribe who wrote the book of Hebrews stated, Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will fall by following their example of disobedience... (Hebrew 4: 11) To enter Sabbath means to achieve complete permanent sinless perfection and immortality in Christ; which is a position in the spirit realm where life, holiness, righteousness, peace and joy will remain still; in this realm, God’s way of doing things will become our natural life, there’s no doubt that Jesus has purchased this rest for us. Spiritually, Christ has given us rest but the truth is that we have never fully entered into our rest; it’s just like when the children of Israel entered Jericho and discovered they still had many lands to conquer. Our eternal salvation is progressive…

And do this, understanding the present time. The hour has come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. Romans 13:11...

Without obtaining perfection and immortalization of our earthly body, our rest isn’t completed. We (the church) must continue to grow in the spirit until our mortal body has been clothed with immortality, when the perishable puts on the imperishable, then shall we cease from all of our labor and remain forever in the sabbatical realm with the Lamb of God. (I Corinth, 15:50-56, II Corinth, 5:1-8) As long as we remain in our earthly tabernacle (our perishable body), no one can boast of having complete rest. Our daily life in the mortal flesh is a warfare which will continue until we crucify our outward man and Christ is resurrected fully in us (I Corinth, 15:31, II Corinth, 10:10-14). I believe that no one among us can testify that his own warfare is over. It’s childish to regard a physical day as Sabbath; a spiritual man should understand that there was no commandment of Sabbath in the Garden of Eden until man fell into sin. The reason was that Adam and Eve were partially partaking in the sabbatical realm; there was neither sin nor death in them. Sin and death came into the world as a result of their disobedience (Roman 5:21). It would be foolish of us (the new testament believers) to join the Jews in keeping the symbolic Sabbath, for the Jews will come into full realization one day and acknowledge that Sabbath was given to them as a symbol of life to come through Jesus Christ (Exodus 31:16 Colossians 2:16-17). Can any Jew or Christian say that he has experienced complete rest from labor, sin, war, terror and death? The physical Sabbath can only help to relax the mortal body while the battle continues within. Only the Sabbath in Christ Jesus can offer us true rest whereby our spirit soul and body will be purified and remain permanently in the state of sinlessness, joy, peace and everlasting life. As long as we need to make daily confessions of sin and work at living a holy life, we haven’t fully come into our rest. We should keep growing while cleansing ourselves daily from sin until we experience sinlessness in our mortal body and cross over to join the mystical Sabbath church.

ONCLUSION: It is important that we recapture this vision of permanent perfection, in my careful study of the writings of the prophets in the Old Testament, I have discovered that the prophets of old saw the vision of immortality of the total man; they knew that God set a race before man that needs a great sacrifice to accomplish. The book of Hebrews helps us to understand that Abraham’s life was completely focused on perfection and immortality of the total man…

By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God. (Hebrews11)
The spiritual city that Abraham saw was the heavenly Jerusalem, which is the immortalized assembly of the saints in God’s dwelling place; Abraham and his wife Sarah considered themselves as pilgrims, because they were spiritually hoping to be translated; to be clothed with an immortal tabernacle and to appear before the Lord without sin(2Corithians5:1-8). Abraham saw the days of Jesus Christ and lived by the principle of grace, which is according to the righteousness by faith, Jesus says, Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad (John 8:56). Abraham also partook in eating the body and drinking the blood of Jesus Christ; it is written that Melchesedec offered him bread and wine (Genesis14:18). Abraham saw the days of Christ by divine revelation. We must understand that without revelation, we cannot move to the next level in Christ, consider the prophets of old, from the time of innocence to the period of the law; they all prophetically pursued perfection. Abraham is called the father of faith, and we Christians must come into full realization that faith is not just to believe in something and then claim it, faith is prophetic; it is a spiritual reality revealed by God to man which man has to bring into physical manifestation through sacrifice and patience. Faith is not blind, when the scripture says that we walk by faith, not by sight: it means focusing on what the eyes of the heart have seen regardless of what is physically happening around us. It is a pity today, many Christians believe that perfection is not possible, the only kind of faith believer’s today practice is the faith to claim material possessions, “name it and claim it”. Oh! May the Lord grant us understanding!

King David said: Blessed is the man whose strength is in You, Whose heart is set on pilgrimage. As they pass through the Valley of Baca, They make it a spring; The rain also covers it with pools. They go from strength to strength; Each one appears before God in Zion. (Psalm 84:5-7) David was a great prophet; the scripture reveals that he also had deep insight concerning the immortality of the total man.

Another prophet who shares an encouraging view about perfection is Job.  According to the scripture, Job said: There is a path which no fowl knoweth, and which the vulture's eye hath not seen: The lion's whelps have not trodden it, nor the fierce lion passed by it. (Job 28:7-8) Job was speaking about the pathway to immortality, and the principles of his life revealed that he was perfection and immortality oriented. Job declared thus; "I made a covenant with my eyes not to look lustfully at a virgin (Job 31:1).Who could have told Job what Jesus said? “But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart”, (Matthew5:28) It is only by revelation! Job as a prophet saw the eternal laws of Jesus Christ and looked for internal purification; he made God the goal of his life instead of material possessions. According to the scripture, Job was tempted by the devil and lost all of his physical wealth, his children and his health, but he refused to compromise. Despite the great calamities that came upon Job, instead of murmuring and complaining he worshiped the Lord and said, “Blessed be the name of the Lord”. In all that happened to him, Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly (Job1:22). May we all come to that point where God becomes our ultimate desire in life!

Moses was 120 years old when he died, his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated (Deuteronomy 34:7). This should show us that he also spiritually saw and sought for immortality with the Lord God. King Solomon said…
The path of life leads upward for the wise to keep him from going down to the grave (Proverbs 15:24).

Again, he said… But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble (Proverbs 4:18-19.)

After reading these scriptures, can anyone doubt that King Solomon did not see the inward and outward perfection of man? Elijah as well saw this great spiritual vision; he was transported by a chariot of fire into heaven without passing through a physical death. Scripture helps us to understand that Elijah was not a supernatural being, but someone like us (James5:17).The difference between these people and us is that they had a divine vision and a great passion for holiness. None of them were chasing after material pleasures like many of us who are running after money “in the name of God”. Most believers are trying to use God to achieve their selfish interests. No spiritual person will argue the fact that these prophets of old were sinlessness and immortality conscious; only the theologians can debate this.

The Jewish people lost the ancient vision of sinlessness and immortalization of the earthly body when they forsook the prophetic word of God and developed for themselves a religion now called Judaism. It important to realize that we are on a divine journey; it is not a matter of belonging to a religious group, but focusing on Christ and cleansing ourselves daily from sin to become like Him. When people lose focus from conforming to God’s image and form organizations, the spirit of God will leave. For instance, when the Sadducees organized and became fixated in the Mosaic Laws, the people who saw beyond the Sadducees took their leave and started another movement towards restoration; they were known as the Pharisees. When they also became dogmatic, the Essenes came up and moved beyond the Pharisees, afterwards came John the Baptist, and then Jesus Christ. We must spend time in prayer asking God to give unto us the spirit of wisdom and revelation just as Paul the apostle prayed for the Ephesian believers (Ephesians1:15-23). Spiritual revelation, consecration, dedication and commitment are necessary to walk with God.

Don’t ever try to confine yourself to anyone’s view of Christianity, whom you are seeking for is God; desire to know Him and serve Him unlike any other man. We should prove all things and hold fast to that which is good. The Lord is looking for a remnant that will stand out among the crowd and say no to corruption, and stand tall as Jesus Christ in righteousness. It is not all about Churches, ministries, the Christian religion, or Judaism, it’s all about true intimate relationship with God through Jesus Christ; to achieve God’s divine nature and His character and manifest it in the midst of darkness so that men will refrain from sin. Perfection and immortality in Christ is possible and it is an ancient vision that the prophets of old desired to see, we should learn from them, those who through faith subdued kingdoms. Understand! The kingdoms that we are to subdue exist inside of us. I mean, sin wants to stop us from reaching our destiny in God and that is the kingdom that we are to overcome. Sin always desires to dominate and control us; most Christians wanting to achieve a greater height in Christ will be challenged by a particular sin such as anger, bitterness, sexual immorality, lying, lust, drunkenness etc. We should lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us (Hebrews 12:1).
