The Elohim House (Our Spiritual Destination)

Introduction: Considering the rate that “Christians” rush into physical buildings called “church” on Sunday and mid-week days, one could assume that something supernatural is happening in the structure called “the church” but the truth is that nothing is really happening; people are just reluctant to give up their religious activities to seek God’s present reality. Most believers are fully aware that their spiritual life is at the zero point; they have allowed this present world system to contaminate the word of God sowed in their heart by the Holy Spirit, but instead of repenting and starting afresh, they continue to pretend, using mere religious activities to cover up their short comings just to make people think that God is still on the move, while they are experiencing deep spiritual dryness.

The Manifestation of Hell

W
hen many of us hear the word “hell” the first thing that goes on in our mind is the lake of fire, however, there are two different aspects of hell, which have nothing to do with a physical fire.  There is a difference in Hell and the Lake of Fire that burns with brimstones…
And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire (Revelation20:12-15)
The above scripture teaches of a time when death and hell were cast into the lake of fire, which indicates that hell is different from the lake of fire. There is a physical and spiritual aspect of hell. Hell spiritually is a state of being, the spiritual sphere between mortality and immortality or the realm where disembodied (unclothed) spirits are caged in wait for the final judgment of the Lord. When a saint sleeps in the Lord, his or her earthly body will actually return to dust but the spirit through the power of the Holy Spirit will be translated into God to be clothed with a new immortal body so that the person will spend eternity with God. This is what Paul says, to be absent from the body is to be at home with the Lord (2Corintians5:8). When a sinner dies, his body will also return to dust but the soul of that sinner cannot ascend unto God to receive the imperishable (celestial) body because he does not have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. That sinner’s spirit will be conformed to a demon, falling into the same spiritual state where Lucifer and his angels are (because it has been alienated from God) and then begin to move back and forth to seek for a place of rest…..

When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out. And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished. Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first.(Luke11:24-26)

Unclean spirits seek to poses people to operate in because their own body (their dwelling place) has been destroyed and they are now in a spiritual prison, which means that they cannot cross over to the immortality sphere; neither can they return to the mortality realm. The demons can’t ascend upward to heaven, or return to live in the physical earth because they have neither celestial nor earthly body. This spiritual state of being is called Hell, a place where an unclothed spirit thirsts for water but cannot drink because they are disembodied and their desire to drink water is a torment that will last forever. They desire to associate with the living but cannot because there is a fixed spiritual gulf.  The Lord teaches this in the story of the rich man and Lazarus (Luke16:19-31). This was the spiritual realm (hell) where Jesus Christ went and preached to the spirits in prison after his death….

For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water (1Peter3:19).

The spirits that Jesus Christ preached to were those who lived in the past ages before the period of grace; they had no chance to hear the gospel of grace. Satan is the king of hell, we should always be thankful that God promised us that we are not going to be found naked “unclothed” after our departure from this mortal life; we are going to be clothed with our heavenly body (2Corithians5:1-8). There is no repentance in hell, a spirit that is in hell is waiting for the final transfer to the main lake of fire that burns with brimstones (Revelation21:7-8).  Hell physically represents stagnancy in life, a state of not developing or making progress. Someone who says to be going through physical hell is a person who is seriously struggling, making every effort to achieve what he defines as success in life but not moving either forward or backward.  Going through hell on earth can also mean putting forth a maximum effort but receiving a minimum result or going around in a circle in life.

Manifestation of Hell in the structural church

I
t is important to remind ourselves always that we are on a journey, as we should know, the word “Church” signify “a called out people”, representing “the Hebrew” which comes from the root word “Eber” meaning people in constant migration or people a cross over. There is a divine race set before the church, the same way that the natural Israelites were called out of Egypt and the people gradually journeyed and entered the promised land, so the church (spiritual Hebrews) supposed to gradually migrate spiritually to the eternal land of promise, which is why we are known as the called out people, God has not just called us out of the world to gather in one place and wait for the day of rapture, we must be progressive in every aspect, and our advancement must be constant until we arrived at God’s  predetermine state of perfection. It is a pity, due to the development of dogmatic and systematic theology in Christendom, believers are no longer growing spiritually, or achieving new spiritual dimension in Christ. Believers in organized churches are in spiritual captivity (hell) under their pastors, bishops, archbishops, pope and so forth; the present denominational church leaders are no longer servants but lords, and believers are now spectators instead of coworkers in the kingdom. Since the religious leaders in the organized Christianity religion are no longer achieving fresh spiritual heights in Christ, their followers (those who are looking unto them) have stop growing spiritually, they are completely static and can’t move beyond their leaders whom they have considered to be their ultimate oracle. It is important for Christians to recognize  that hell is manifesting itself in the structural Church; scripture teaches that the path of the just is as the shining light that shineth more and more unto the perfect day (Proverb14:18). This means that our light as Christians is not suppose to shine today and go off tomorrow or remains stagnant, we are made to grow from faith to faith, strength to strength, and from glory to glory till we all reach God’s predetermined state of perfection….

Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them. Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools. They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God (Psalm84:5-7).

Going forward and backward or going round a circle is not God’s will for anyone; we must be achieving a higher level of knowledge, revelation, wisdom, power, holiness, purity and glory each day. Our spiritual growth should be constant, we should be increasing instead of decreasing, for instance, our level of separation, inward purification and dedication at this moment should not to be the same tomorrow, each day should be our new beginning. God wants us to be progressive spiritually and physically, one common proverb says, “a river that does not flow will stink”. If a Christian fails to advance spiritually and chooses to be fixated in the knowledge and character of Christ, the system of this world will overtake and dominate that person again. To survive in this mystical journey, we must look beyond mortal men and fix our eyes on Christ, and also, we must have pilgrimage mentality, or understand that this temporary world is not our home; we are totally strangers in this planet…

Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul… (1Peter2”11)

When we sleep in the Lord (die) we will leave our worldly wealth behind, but only our virtue will follow us, so like Abraham our father in faith, we should focus more in developing our character than seeking for the mortal blessings, let’s look beyond the material world and seek for the immortal city in God….

By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.(Hebrews11:9-10)

Having Divine insight

L
ooking at the lives of those that God has used to pioneer the heavenly way, people like Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Moses and Jesus Christ, were all men of vision. What I mean by vision is not having a clear mere mental picture or accurate imagination in your heart of the kind of physical project you want to accomplish on earth, the vision speaks about the accurate perception of the eternal reality of God’s plans and purposes in heaven concerning man, and the way to accomplish that divine plan, or in simple terms, this “vision” speaks of where you are coming from, where you are going to and the way to your destination,  that is why Paul the apostle called it the heavenly vision….“Wherefore, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the “heavenly vision” (Act26:19).Without perception of the heavenly realities of God one cannot achieve a high spiritual dimension in God, or grow spiritually; it is not a matter of quoting the bible or knowing your bible in and out. Anyone who truly wants to grow up in Christ  needs a divine revelation of Jesus Christ, the major problem causing many from not advancing daily is the lack of vision; King Solomon said that where there is no vision, the people perish (Proverb29:18). Lack of understanding or vision causes stagnancy, backsliding and destruction of a soul, for instance, if you leave your house and don’t know where you are going, you will never arrive anywhere, in other words, people without vision must definitely live a careless life. As we can see today, organizational church is no better than social clubs. The Christians, (especially our leaders) need to see the eternal vision that the scripture speaks about, because the blind cannot lead the blind… (Luke6:39).Prophetically, one can see that the structural church today is like a dungeon; a spiritual prison, since most of our leaders lack true vision people continue to gather around them without attaining spiritual maturity. When the Pharisees accused Jesus that He bore witness of Him, and that His record was not true, the Lord answered and said to them…
Though I bear record of myself, yet my record is true: for I know whence I came, and whither I go; but ye cannot tell whence I come, and whither I go. (John8:14)

Clarity of vision is essential when it comes to fulfilling our divine destiny in God. Prophet Habakkuk was told by God to write the vision and engrave it so plainly upon tablets so that people will read and run with the vision (Habakkuk2:2). We all need to see the heavenly vision clearly and run with it or else we’ll be going back and forth in our spiritual lives until Christ returns, depending on systematic theology will not do us any good at this time, we need a fresh revelation from God daily.

The Elohim House (Our Spiritual Destination)

W
hat the majority of the “Christians” know about their final destination is heaven with no profound view.  The common perception of heaven among Christians is the general orthodox concept, which teaches that believers are going to occupy physical mansions in the astral world after the rapture, where the streets are paved with gold. However, Jesus says, in my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also (John14:2-3). Note; the word “house” is translated from the Greek term “oikia” meaning “family”, and the term “mansion” is also from the Greek word “mano” which signify “position”, so the translation can be better read; in my father’s family there are many (spiritual) positions. Jesus Christ was not promising going to the astral world to construct physical houses for those who believed in Him, instead He was pointing to the Elohim house, or the Elohim family, which is the family of God different from an earthly gathering of Christians. Here is a quotation from the Orthodox Jewish Bible ….

Elohim standeth in the Adat El; He judgeth among the elohim… I have said, elohim ye are; and all of you are Bnei HaElyon (Psalm82:1, 6)

The English bible translates, God stood in the assembly of gods, and He judges among the gods, I said, “You are gods, (Psalm82:1, 6)

David prophetically saw Christ standing in the mystical assembly of those who have conformed to God’s accurate image. John tells us that he saw Christ standing in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks, (revelation1:12-13). What John saw is not different from what King David spiritually perceived; seven is the number of perfection, gold represents divine purity, a burning and shining candle stick signify a purified and glorified saints, or a perfect church, so John saw beyond the seven mortal churches in Asia, he saw Jesus Christ standing in the midst of the perfected and glorified immortalized saints in the heavenly realm. And that is the spiritual dimension where the true saints are heading to. Paul the apostle said for whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren (Roman 8: 29). We are destined to conform to Christ’s image. Where the scripture reads that “Jesus Christ is the firstborn”, it simply means that Jesus Christ was the first to attain and manifest God’s fullness, so in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily, (Colosians2:9). We are going to become like Jesus Christ our Lord when we attain a pure state of sinlessness and translate to immortality. It is a pity when the family of God is being mentioned, most will invision the confused denominational churches assuming that God’s family represents the mortal believers’ gathering, but what they fail to realize is that the mortal church is simply a shadow of the real celestial assembly; the Elohim House, the company of “gods” with God or the company of perfected and glorified saints with YEHOVAH in their mist, a sinless and immortalized human beings occupying the spiritual dimension of Christ. Now, that doesn’t mean there are many Gods in heaven as Joseph Smith of the Latter Days Saints falsely claimed. God is and will always remain one God…Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord! (Deut.6:4)  When we think about the “Elohim house”, we should look beyond the church natural; let us begin to consider the perfected and glorified immortalized assembly in the heavenly Zion…

But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,(Hebrews12:22-23)

In the above scripture, the author of the book of Hebrew prophetically declared the arrival of the mortal Church in mount Zion. The same with John the beloved who said…

Then I looked, and there before me was the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father's name written on their foreheads. And I heard a sound from heaven like the roar of rushing waters and like a loud peal of thunder. The sound I heard was like that of harpists playing their harps. And they sang a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders. No one could learn the song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth. These are those who did not defile themselves with women, for they kept themselves pure. They follow the Lamb wherever he goes. They were purchased from among men and offered as first fruits to God and the Lamb. 5No lie was found in their mouths; they are blameless (Revelation 14:1-5).

Zion is described in the scriptures as the city of the living God, which entails His dwelling place (Hebrews 12:22 Psalm 9:11 Isaiah 8:18 Joel 3:21 Psalm 50:2) God is a spirit (John 4:24), His city or His dwelling can never be a physical house made by hand, and it can never be a physical mount in Jerusalem. Zion represents a spiritual state of purity, power and immortality or complete level of sinlessness and permanent perfection and everlasting life. God exists in the realm of sinlessness where life is constant and peace is still (Timothy 6:14-16). Sin and death can never reign in the dwelling place of God. Spiritually, many saints are occupying this position with Christ and that is the Immortal Assembly of God (The Zion Church). We (mortal Church) are going up to join the immortal church at the close of the mortal age when the last trumpet will sound and all of the true believers in Jesus Christ will be transformed to immortality to join Abraham, Enoch, Elijah, Moses and the other glorified servants of the Lord who make up the Mystical Elohim house. (1Corrinthians 15:50-54)  I believe that the mindset of every Christian should be to join the saints in Zion (Hebrew 12:22). The immortal assembly above are watching us (the mortal church), hoping to witness our great transformation coming soon. May we will all come to that stage in Christ where we trample sin and death under our feet and enter into that realm in God where peace, joy and life is constant!
The Inner Path to Zion
T
he way to the realm of immortality is totally different from observing religious rule and regulation, God’s way is something to discover within our heart through the help of the Holy Spirit, it is obvious one of the doctrines the devil is using to distract people from achieving heaven on earth is the orthodox teaching of rapture invented by John Darby and Scofield, instead of Christian to comprehend that we are growing into heaven, they continue to assumed that one day they will all fly away to be with God in heaven without first walking with him here on earth. It’s important to understand that God dwelling place represents the highest realm of purity and immortality, and that should be our goal. There are glorious spiritual dimensions in heaven, and through the blood of Jesus, we have complete access to explore these heavenly glorious realms even while we’re living here on earth. The writer of Hebrews speaks about people who were once enlightened by those who have experienced the good things of heaven and shared in the Holy Spirit,  who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the power of the age to come (Hebrew6:4-5). Paul the apostle was alive and paid a visit to a spiritual dimension he called third heaven (2Corithians12:2-4). My own spiritual eyes opened the first time I read this…
And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven (John3:13KJV).

This scripture helps me to understand that I don’t need to die before visiting heaven; I can be here on earth and in Heaven simultaneously. Heaven is our base, the earth is our mission field, we should visit heaven frequently for Jesus has paved the way for us, it is left for us to start pursuing this dimension by daily repentance and cleansing of our heart from every evil thought, adding  the fruits of the spirit.(2Cor,7:1-2, 2Peter1:5-10). We should always remember that Jesus Christ is coming back for a perfect church without spot or wrinkles, this means that Christ will first come in us and fully manifest Himself the world again through our lifestyle…(2Thessalonians1:10) To be continued…..
