Introduction

I
t is not wise to believe or accept bible doctrines simply because other organizational Christians world-wide accepts them. If our desire is to grow spiritually to reach the full knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ, we must remain flexible and teachable, not having a Sadducees and Pharisees mind-set. Both of these sects in their time knew the mysteries of God in part but assumed that they knew it all. It was very difficult for the Sadducees and the Pharisees to receive the present truth (a higher revelation of God)that came through Jesus Christ because of their “I know it all attitude”. There is need for every Christian to remain open to the truth because none of us have learned all that is needed to know about God. Whenever believers in God fail to realize that God’s revelation is progressive and acknowledge that they only know God in part, they will become antagonistic to the present truth of God. Let us always be mindful that we are all still babies in Christ; no Christian has attained total maturity in Christ.

Cross – examination

W
e should examine ourselves to see whether we are in the faith; we should test ourselves (2Corinthians13:5). It is possible for one to fall out from the true faith in Christ and not know it (Revelation3:16-17). Just as the cunning serpent deceived Eve, our minds can be led astray from sincere and pure devotion to Christ (2Corinthians11:1-4). It is important for us to often evaluate our doctrinal beliefs to make sure that we are standing in truth because the secret power of lawlessness is already at work and thousands of believers have already been deceived; for instance, instead of seeking for a deeper spiritual inner life of Christ daily in order to achieve complete inward and outward purity, Christians are now pursuing after material pleasures, people are trying to use God’s name to achieve their selfish interests without an inward desire and groaning for holiness. There is so much perversion in the structural church today because the man of sin “The antichrist” is seated right in center of Christendom.

Changing the Law of Moses

I
t is taught in Daniels prophesy that the antichrist will think to change times and laws (Daniel7:23-25). This prophecy began it’s fulfillment by the Roman Catholic Church authority; for instance, the 2nd commandment, which refers to images and idols is missing in the Roman Catholic catechism, and to fill the gap for the absence of one commandment, the 10th is divided into two. The 4th commandment, which talks about the sabbath, now turns out to be the 3rd commandment in the Catholic catechism. The below table lists the ten commandments as stated in the Old Testament and Roman Catholic Catechism…..

Ten Commandments in the Old Testament

Ten commandments according to Papacy

I. Thou shall have NO OTHER gods before me.
I. You shall have no strange gods before me.
2. Thou shall not make any graven images.
Deleted …………………………………………….
3. Thou shall not take the name of the Lord in vain.
2. You shall not take the name of the Lord in vain.
4. Remember the Sabbath Day and keep it Holy. Six days shall thou labor, but the seventh day of the Lord thy God. Do no work on that day.
3. Keep holy the Sabbath day.
5. Honor thy father and mother.
4. Honor your father and mother.
6. Do not kill.
5. Do not kill.
7. Do not commit adultery.
6. Do not commit adultery.
8. Do not steal.
7. Do not steal.
9. Do not bear false witness.
8. Do not bear false witness.
10. Do not covet thy neighbor's house or wife, or anything that is thy neighbor's.
9. Do not covet you neighbor's wife.

10. Do not covert your neighbor's goods.

The papacy “Roman Catholics throne” has just fulfilled a part of Daniels prophecy, the Catholics have tampered with the Old Testament laws. It is important to look beyond what the Roman Catholics church authority has done with the Ten Commandments, and seek for a deeper truth concerning changing of times and laws. We must understand that there is a difference between the Mosaic Law and the perfect law of liberty or the law of the spirit. The law of Moses is the knowledge of sin (Roman3:20), while the law of the spirit came to bring perfection (Romans8:2-11, Hebrews7:11-12.8:7-13), and we should also remember that the antichrist is a spirit…

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: very spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world(I John 4:1-3).

The Greek word “an-tee-kris-toess” from which the English word "antichrist" is translated, is simple to comprehend. The Greek word an-tee is the English word “Anti” meaning oppose or against, the Greek word Christos, translated “Christ” in English means the anointed one. The Hebrew word for Christ is Messiah, which represents the Savior. “The antichrist” meansenemy of Christ or someone who is against the Savior, another name for Christ is the word of God (Revelation19:13). In this regard, a perfect name to identify the antichrist is the anti word of God. Satan is the antichrist, beginning in the garden of Eden, he attacked God’s word by hiding in a serpent (Genesis3). The antichrist attacked the righteous Abel through Ken (Genesis4), the antichrist also attacked and betrayed Jesus Christ through Judas (John13:2, 27). We must see that the antichrist is not just one person; there are many antichrists….

Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time (1John2:18).

The same antichrist spirit that used the Roman Catholic Church system to tamper with the laws of Moses is the same spirit seriously attacking the Word through modern theologians and bible translators.
Changing the Laws of Spirit

Who also hath made us able ministers of the New Testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life (2Corithians3:6).

I
t is significant for us to know that the law that the antichrist is really interested in changing is not just the Mosaic Laws which the Catholic tampered with, but the law of the spirit, which is the Law of Liberty (Romans8:2, James2:12). Christians obey the law of the spirit by walking daily with the rhema words of God; it is the spiritual revelation of Christ that is given by the Holy Spirit that enlightens the eyes of our hearts. Christians achieve spiritual growth by walking in the fresh revelations received from the written word of God revealed by the Spirit, which is the reason Satan is fighting so hard to corrupt the written word of God. Daily the antichrist is adding and removing something from the original scriptures to lead Christians to hell…

But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them—bringing swift destruction on themselves.  Many will follow their depraved conduct and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. In their greed these teachers will exploit you with fabricated stories (2Peter2:1-3).

Destructive heresy has secretly sneaked into modernized bible versions; we should beware of the different translations of the bible, there is no English translation of the bible in this world that is free from translation error. I am not suggesting for anyone to discontinue reading English translations of the bible, I believe in the prophets and apostles of God who were absolutely led and inspired by the Holy Spirit to write the scriptures (the original manuscript), the word of God and its message alone is pure and holy. We must be careful because some of these theological groups claim that they are only upgrading English and grammar to make the scriptures easier to read, but after careful observation you will discover that not only do they upgrade the old English, they also change words from its original meaning to suit their selfish philosophies. Do not be deceived into believing that all bible versions are accurate, Christians are obligated to study the scriptures intensely. To study with one bible version is good, but that version should be compared to other translations. If possible, search for the original Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek manuscripts in efforts to gain an accurate interpretation with the help of the Holy Spirit. Many have forgotten or unaware that the original Old Testament was written in Hebrew with a few chapters in Aramaic, and the New Testament as well was written in Hebrew, though it has been falsely claimed to be written and documented in Greek. Western scholars and translators most often translate the scriptures from the original language with a western mind-set, and some of the theologians who do the translation are not even spirit-filled born again Christians, just academicians! Most of what they translate from the original manuscript is based upon intellectual knowledge, which is why in most cases when reading particular scriptures or verses the Spirit of God in you won’t accept the translation because the Holy Spirit knows that what has been translated is not accurate. For instance, read and compare the following scriptures carefully to determine whether the translators’ translations are similar to the original manuscript, or whether they are bringing to us similar messages from the original manuscript:

Luke 17:35-37 (King James Version)
Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.

Luke 17:35-37 (New International Version)
Two women will be grinding grain together; one will be taken and the other left." "Where, Lord?" they asked. He replied, "Where there is a dead body, there the vultures will gather."

Luke17:35-37(Worldwide English New Testament)
Two women will be making flour together. One woman will be taken away and the other woman will be left. Two men will be in a field. One man will be taken away and the other man will be left.' They asked him, `Where will this be, Lord?' He said, `The big birds that eat meat will go to the place where the dead body is.'

Luke 17:34-37 (The Message)
On that Day, two men will be in the same boat-fishingone taken, the other left. Two women will be working in the same kitchen—one taken, the other left." Trying to take all this in, the disciples said, "Master, where?" He told them, "Watch for the circling of the vultures. They'll spot the corpse first. The action will begin around my dead body."

Luke 17:35-37 (Contemporary English Version)
Two women will be together grinding wheat, but only one will be taken. The other will be left. Then Jesus' disciples spoke up, "But where will this happen, Lord?" Jesus said, "Where there is a corpse, there will always be buzzards."

Now, after reading and comparing the above translations, there is no way to convince one to believe that they are similar. To begin with, The NIV omitted verse 36 which states that:

“Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left”

And again the NIV translators translated a dead body” and “vultures” in “verse 37” instead of “a body” and the Eagles”.

No one knows where the Message bible translator translated the following from:

Two men will be in the same boat fishing and two women will be working in the same kitchen

The original Greek manuscript does not mention anything similar to that, and instead of translating a body in verse 37, the Message Bible translated my dead body, but we all know that Christ has no dead body, His resurrected body is immortal which cannot die, and His body on earth (the church) can never die. The Worldwide English New Testament translated the big birds that eat meat and a dead body in verse 37 instead of a body and the eagles, as if there is only one type of big bird that eats meat. The Contemporary English Version used a corpse and buzzards, now, buzzards include the North American turkey vulture. As we should know, animals and things used in the scriptures have a spiritual symbolism, let’s use the following as an example; the scripture says;

And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him (matthew3:16).

The dove represents gentleness, peace, purity, accuracy, humility, meekness and so forth, Right? Think of it, if one should translate the above verse in this manner:

And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like the Spirit of God descending like a parrot and lighting upon him…

Would that give the same spiritual meaning? Of course not! Why? Because a parrot represents one who is talkative and is a backbiter. Now, I don’t think that a Christian who has a spiritual insight would accept that the above translations are in agreement in Luke 17:35-37. The translators are all saying different things; prophetically, there is a big difference betweena dead body and a body, and between the eagles and the vultures. A dead body and the vultures spiritually symbolize different things from a body and the eagles.  For example, “EAGLES” symbolizes prophetic saints. Now, to say that a vultureand eagle have the same spiritual representation is like trying to convince one to believe that darkness and light have the similar spiritual representations. Satan is not ignorant; he knows to attack the revelation behind the written word of God. It is the rhema that gives life, and that is what the enemy is after. It is important for theologians and translators to leave the words the way they were written in the original manuscript. If it is written “field” or “farm” in the original manuscript, no one should change it to “kitchen” or “office”. If it is written “lion” let it not be translated to “tiger” or “leopard” because changing it kills the spiritual meaning of the written word of God, and that is the highest level of a spiritual attack of the antichrist against the children of God.

All the Bible versions have their problems

N
ow, whether you believe it or not, all English versions have their own problems, but some versions are more accurate than others, which is why studying and comparing them is imperative to discover their hidden errors. Theologians and scholars in most cases translate from the original manuscripts to support their own personal interests. A good example of this can be illustrated using the scripture in the bible where the translators of the King James Version use the word Sodomites and other versions changed the word to shrine prostitute, temple prostitute, sacred prostitute, prostitutes and so forth, take a closer look at the following translations:

1 Kings 15:12 (King James Version)
And he took away the sodomites out of the land, and removed all the idols that his fathers had made.

1 Kings 15:12 (New International Version)
He expelled the male shrine prostitutes from the land and got rid of all the idols his fathers had made.

1 Kings 15:12 (The Message)

He got rid of the sacred prostitutes and threw out all the idols his predecessors had made.

1 Kings 15:12 (New Living Translation)
He banished the male and female shrine prostitutes from the land and got rid of all the idols his ancestors had made.

1 Kings 15:12 (Contemporary English Version)
He forced the prostitutes at the shrines to leave the country, and he got rid of the idols his ancestors had made.

During my own research, I discovered that the word sodomites covers all unusual sexual practices, such as homosexuality, lesbianism, bestiality, incest and so on, such were the sins that invoked God’s wrath over Sodom and Gomorrah (Genesis 19:5). God hates sexual perversion!

Do not practice homosexuality, having sex with another man as with a woman. It is a detestable sin. A man must not defile himself by having sex with an animal. And a woman must not offer herself to a male animal to have intercourse with it. This is a perverse act. Do not defile yourselves in any of these ways, for the people I am driving out before you have defiled themselves in all these ways (Leviticus19:22-24).

The new covenant as well completely condemned sexual perversion of any kind. For the word of the Lord says:

Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals (1 Corinthians 6:9).

Changing the word from sodomites to prostitutes gives the notion that gay marriages can be accepted in the Christian faith, which is exactly what some translators of the scriptures are trying to do; they want homosexuals to be accepted in the structural church without telling them to repent from their abominable practices.  Some theologians probably don’t see a thing wrong with being a homosexual or a lesbian. Christians should be very careful! The scriptures have passed through many hands and Satan is working hard to deceive the sons of God through the structural church and through modern bible versions. I thank God for the Holy Spirit who was sent to teach and guide us into truth and show us things to come. We Christians should wake up for reality! The devil is using some theologians and bible translators to confuse and destroy the faith of young Christians.

The Effect of Denominationalism in Bible Translation

A
nother crucial issue that must be realized is that the translators of the scriptures are not from one common church organization; therefore, they have different doctrines and beliefs in spiritual matters. Some groups in some cases translate to support their religious organizational doctrines, for instance; The New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures is the version used by the Jehovah witness and Mr. Nathan Nor who is one of the top leaders in Jehovah Witness organization translated it. Since the founder of the Jehovah witness Charles T. Russelland his followers denied the doctrine of trinity, they believe that Jehovah God is the Supreme Being, and Jesus Christ is the son of God a created being. They believe that Christ originally existed in a pre-human state as the archangel Michael who later took on a human form and manifested himself on earth. Based on the view that the Jehovah witnesses have about Jesus Christ, any verse in the scriptures where other bible versions attributes divinity to Jesus Christ, the Jehovah witnesses bibleNew world Translation of the Holy Scriptures” will not recognize it. Read the following scriptures and compare the versions:

John 1:1 (King James Version)

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God

John 1:1 (New International Version)

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God

John1:1(New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures)

In [the] beginning the Word was, and the Word was with God, and the Word was a god

The Word is Christ as we all know, using the term that the Word was a god, instead of Capital “G” means that Jesus Christ is no different from any other human being, God said, we are "gods"; we are all sons of the Most High (Psalm 82:6), the small “g” applied to every human being on earth.

Jehovah witness don’t believe in the doctrine of hell fire, therefore in their bible version, the word Hell fire is represented with another word that makes it have another meaning. Please check the following:

Matthew 5:22 (King James Version)

But I say unto you, that whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

Matthew 5:22 (New International Version)

But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to his brother, ‘Raca is answerable to the Sanhedrin. But anyone who says, 'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of hell.

Matthew 5:22 (New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures)

However, I say to YOU that everyone who continues wrathful with his brother will be accountable to the court of justice; but whoever addresses his brother with an unspeakable word of contempt will be accountable to the Supreme Court; whereas whoever says, ‘You despicable fool!’ will be liable to the fiery Ge·hen´na.

Using the word “Fiery Ge·hen´na" means that hell fire is figurative, not a reality. The word Ge·hen´na" is derived from theValley of the Sons of Hinnom, situated in the southwest of Jerusalem. Initially the site used to be where the worshipers of Ba'al would go to carry out their human sacrifices to the god molech, but the valley later became the common waste yard for all the refuse of Jerusalem.

Jehovah witnesses don’t believe that the Holy Spirit is a personality, so their bible translated the Holy Spirit as God’s active force, which reduces God to a divine principle. See the below scriptures:

Genesis 1:2 (King James Version)

And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

Genesis 1:2 (New International Version)

Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

Genesis 1:2 (New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures)

Now the earth proved to be formless and waste and there was darkness upon the surface of [the] watery deep; and God’s active force was moving to and fro over the surface of the waters.

Comparing “KJV” With “N I V” And Other Versions

W
e have just explored several differences between the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures with other bible versions; more differences can be realized with more research. Now lets us compare the Authorized King James version with the New International Versions and others.
Isaiah7:14 (King James Version)

Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

Isaiah7:14 (Revised Standard Version)

Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, a young woman shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Imman'u-el.

Isaiah7:14 (Good News Translation)

Well then, the Lord himself will give you a sign: a young woman who is pregnant will have a son and will name him "Immanuel.

Personally, I believe that whosoever translated the Revised Standard Version and Good News are deliberately tampering with scripture to deny the virgin birth of Jesus Christ, because a young woman is totally different from a virgin, the ancient Hebrew prophecy specifically pointed out that a virgin shall conceive and bear a son, not young woman. A young woman who is pregnant can be any woman not necessarily a virgin.

Matthew 24:36 (King James Version)

But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

Matthew 24:36 (New International Version)

No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

It is obvious that the scholars who translated the King James Version believed in the oneness theology that claims that Jesus and God are perfectly one. They believe there is nothing that the Father can do without the Son knowing it. The Trinitarian theologians believe that the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are three different personalities, to them God can do something without revealing it to Jesus Christ.

Romans 8:1-2 (King James Version)

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

Romans 8:1-2 (New International Version)

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death.
Note; NIV omitted “who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” which makes the verse have a different meaning from the authorize King James Version.

Romans 8:1-2 (The Message)

With the arrival of Jesus the Messiah, that fateful dilemma is resolved. Those who enter into Christ being-here-for-us no longer have to live under a continuous, low-lying black cloud; a new power is in operation. The Spirit of life in Christ, like a strong wind, has magnificently cleared the air, freeing you from a fated lifetime of brutal tyranny at the hands of sin and death.

The message bible is saying something totally different in Romans 8:1-2 from them all.

Psalm29:2 (King James Version (KJV)

Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

Psalm29:2 (New International Version (NIV)

Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness.

The King James Version translated “Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness”, which means that believers should make every effort to live a holy life so that their character will bring praise to God (Mathew5: 16). NIV translated worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness. Meaning people should worship God because of His holiness, not to worship God through their lifestyle. Now these are the foxes, the little foxes that spoil the vineyard! (Song of Solomon 2:15)

Revelation 11:17 (King James Version)

Saying, We give thee thanks, O LORD God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.

Revelation 11:17 (New King James Version)

saying: We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, The One who is and who was and who is to comeBecause You have taken Your great power and reigned.

Revelation 11:17 (New International Version)

We give thanks to you, Lord God Almighty, the One who is and who wasbecause you have taken your great power and have begun to reign.

Revelation 11:17 (New American Standard Bible)

saying, "We give You thanks, O Lord God, the Almighty, who are and who were, because You have taken Your great power and have begun to reign.

Who is, who was and who is to come”. Who is to come means that Jesus Christ is coming back again, but if we omit “who is to come” and just add, “Who was and who is”, it means that Christ is not coming back again.

It is important for Christians to realize that the real antichrist is operating through the different bible versions, we should use caution in reading these modern translations, which their translators claim to be working to make the scriptures easier to read. It is a pity that when Christians are discussing “Satan’s bible”, they only mention the so called The Satanic Bible which was published by Anton LaVey in 1969 without considering books like the NIV, The Message Bible, NLT, Good News, New world translation of the scriptures and so forth. While some are concerning themselves with Lavey’s book, thereal Satan is hiding in modern day Christian bible versions.

I would advise all Christians (including myself) to revive your study and prayer life, and compare several translations especially for passages that are difficult to understand. As we study, we must depend on the Holy Spirit to give us an accurate interpretation of the word of God and to guide us into all truth as Jesus promised (John14:26, 16:13). Mature Christians should explore all books as led by the Holy Spirit, such as ancient and modern historical books of Christian faith including biographies of people who whole-heartedly served the Lord, beginning from the time of Adam. Studies are not only for the church leaders but also for every child of God who wants to stand firmly and explain the gospel of His Son Jesus Christ wherever they go…..

But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:(1 Peter 3:15).

The enemy has succeeded in causing many to believe that bible versions are without translation error, which is why only few are willing to challenge these different translations and compare them with the original Hebrew manuscript. If we don’t wake up and begin to challenge these different bible versions the upcoming generation of Christians will build completely in falsehood, the more they update and print new bibles the more they are deviating from the truth. New bibles are published yearly for capitalization purposes and perversion of the truth. May the Lord help us to devote our lives once again in prayer and studying of the word of God.
